Load limit restrictions will be placed on all town roads in the Town of Jackson, NH effective Saturday, March, 7, 2026. Roads are posted for a 6 TON load limit and will remain posted until further notice per order of the Select Board.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF THE MEETING DATE
This is to notify the public that the Jackson Planning Board needs to reschedule the March 12, 2026, meeting. The Annual Town Meeting, scheduled for March 12th, conflicts with the Planning Board’s meeting.
Therefore, the meeting originally scheduled for March 12th will be moved to March 19th (the following Thursday). The time of the meeting will remain the same.

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Jackson will hold a session to:
• process applications for new voter registration
• process corrections of the checklist

Voter Registration
Applicants for voter registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should
bring that proof when they come to register.
Please note that the State Law has changed: Applicants are required to present proof of identity, age,
citizenship and domicile. The use of affidavits for citizenship, identification and age is no longer
permitted in New Hampshire per HB1569. See https://www.sos.nh.gov/elections/register-vote for details.
The session may continue past 7:30 p.m. to complete any pending actions pertaining to the checklist.

Required documentation includes:
1. IDENTITY: driver’s license, government-issued photo ID, passport/passport card, naturalization papers
2. AGE: driver’s license, government-issued photo ID, passport/passport card
3. U.S. CITIZENSHIP: U.S. birth certificate, U.S. passport/passport card, naturalization papers, other proof of citizenship issued
by the United States Department of State, or other reasonable documentation which indicates the applicant is a United States
citizen
4. DOMICILE: The following can be used: a New Hampshire Driver’s license or identification card issued by the State, a New
Hampshire Resident vehicle registration, picture identification issued by the United States government that contains a current
address, a government issued check, benefit statement, or tax document. Other reasonable documentation includes proof of
renting or leasing an abode, purchasing an abode, enrolling the applicant’s dependent child in a publicly funded elementary or
secondary school which serves Jackson, listing a domicile as the person’s physical residence address on state or federal tax forms,
other government identification showing the address. Finally, an applicant whose domicile is at the abode of another and whose
name is not listed on the document offered as proof of domicile may provide a written statement from a person who is listed as
owner, property manager, or tenant on the document that the applicant resides at that address, signed by that person under penalty
of voting fraud if false information is provided.
