At the Town of Jackson Annual Town Meeting on March 12, 2020, the legislative body approved an amendment to the Town of Jackson Zoning Ordinance entitled Section 4.4, Short Term Rentals (STR). This new ordinance provision requires all owners of Short Term Rentals (including those in existence at the time of adoption of this ordinance) to apply for a conditional use permit.

Please submit your conditional use permit application to the Board of Selectmen. The fee is $150.00 payable to the Town of Jackson.

Please note: Upon receipt of your application, it will be forwarded to the Planning Board for review. The Planning Board meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7pm. Please check the agenda HERE for your review date.

Upon Planning Board review, the application will then be sent to the Board of Selectmen for approval. The Board of Selectmen meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 3:30pm. Please check the Selectmen’s agenda HERE for the scheduled date.
